(One of the most consistently excellent presses; any book you choose from their list will likely range from very good to astonishing. At the House of Fours we have them shelved by color instead of alphabet—Jeff might be a bit obsessed.  Haven’t read the novels of Sylvia Townsend Warner?  Richard Hughes’ A High Wind in Jamaica?  The romans durs of Simenon?  Bruce Duffy’s novel about Wittgenstein?  Get going.  Plus, great kids’ books as well)

Small Beer Press

(Run by the fabulous writer Kelly Link and her partner Gavin Grant, this press features books mainly of a particular fantasy/science fiction bent, curated for quirk and quality.  Worthwhile for the re-issues of Geoff Ryman alone)
